A Message from Jerry Nelson
Over a decade ago, I opened my Cabo beach home to 11 undergraduate men so they could enjoy a Cabo Spring Break. I had no idea how that experience would grow. I learned from these young men of their intense interest to learn from alumni what was really important to be successful and achieve their dreams.
Well, we have grown since then – and how! Today ALA can host over 600 men a year from more than 100 universities. We expose them to a number of incredibly accomplished individuals.
When we started the ALA programs, I underwrote everything – and was happy to do it! Everyone enjoyed a free hotel stay, meals, transportation, phone calls home, and exposure to amazing speakers.
I continue to invest in the ALA, but the ALA needs investment from the community it benefits most – the speakers and graduates who have shared in this amazing experience.
The annual budget now is over $500,000. I ask that you make an investment in a program that will change lives and help us produce a stronger and freer American, with incredible opportunities for all.
The ALA has begun an online recurring gifts program. With it, you can set up a monthly or quarterly gift of as little as $10. You can use a credit card or enter your bank account information and the charges will be made automatically until you decide to end them. You will have control of the process and will receive E-mails whenever a gift is made.
